The potential impact of community service from the architectural profession is enormous. According to Public Architecture, “If every architecture professional in the U.S. committed 1% of their time to pro bono service, it would add up to 5,000,000 hours annually - the equivalent of a 2,500-person firm, working full-time for the public good.”
Elizabeth Eason Architecture is a participant in Public Architecture’s 1% program. We are committed to provide a minimum of 1% staff hours for pro bono architectural services for non-profit organizations. In addition to the pro bono work, we also offer reduced fee services for community projects as our way to provide architectural services for those that might not otherwise be able to have the assistance of an architect.
