Sustainability
Elizabeth Eason Architecture is committed to providing high performance, healthy projects for our clients. In fact, our firm was founded because of Elizabeth’s desire to do just that – provide quality, sustainable design for the Tennessee and the surrounding region.
We became members of the US Green Building Council in 2003 and were a founding member of the local USGBC East Tennessee Chapter. Elizabeth served on the board and two terms as Chair and other members of the firm have been active in chapter committees. Elizabeth also served on the Knoxville Sustainability Task Force and Governor Bredesen’s Tennessee Energy Policy Task Force.
Our aim is to create aesthetically pleasing spaces that are healthy, efficient and inspiring.
We are constantly exploring new ways to cost effectively and seamlessly incorporate the highest energy and water savings while using the fewest natural resources in the process. As sustainability becomes more integrated in design and construction, our firm continues to raise the bar for our own services.
We have we have designed many LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) and Energy Star projects for our clients. We have also assisted other local architectural firms and contractors by providing LEED Accredited Professional consulting services for their projects.
